Our teachers all have degrees in child development/early childhood education or have valid Child Development Associate (CDA) credentials, exceeding the qualifications set by state law.
Our staff is well trained and up-to-date on Sudden Unexpected Infant Death (SUID) and Abusive Head Trauma (AHT) classes before they even start working with the children and continue to renew the courses yearly. All staff is trained in first aid every 3 years and CPR every 2 years. Upon being hired, each teacher goes through a full orientation and two-week basic training program. In addition, each teacher receives the required amount of in-service training every year to stay current on early childhood learning standards.
Our staff to child ratio — infants 1:4, toddlers 1:7 and preschool 1:10.
